Another star, Heidi Montag from the Hills has admitted to plastic surgery after years of abuse from bullies. Montag told US Weekly :"People would say, 'You have such a big nose!' And they'd make fun of me for being so flat, and say mean boy things, like, 'If you nailed two nails in a board, they would be bigger than you are.'
"I was tormented. And when I was older, I'd want to be intimate, but I'd feel insecure. My boyfriends always had bigger chests than I did!" Do you think Heidi has done the right thing? Do you believe getting plastic surgery is the answer to insecurity?

Cosmo sets new record

One of my favourite magazines, Australian's Cosmopolitan has set an amazing record with 1010 bikini-clad ladies on Australia's most famous beach, Bondi.
The event was in-line with ACP's 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty promotion. The promotion went through all September and ran with several of the ACP magazines.
The shoot will appear in the January issue of Cosmopolitan, on sale Monday December 3, and will also feature in the next edition of the Guinness World Records book, out in September 2008.
Sarah Wilson, editor of the mag will be finishing up with Cosmo in October after three and a half years as editor. I'm sure this is a pretty amazing way to go out!

I was speechless when I came across this. My favourite repeat show, The Brady Bunch has a 'bunch' of secrets just dying to come out it seems.
'Heres the Story' of Maureen McCormick who played Marcia Brady hints in her new tell-all released early next year that her co-star Eve Plumb were more than just gal-pals.Among the bombshell tidbits in the book is a story that she had lesbian experiences with the actress who played one of her younger sisters on the show.

And i thought the Brady Bunch was squeaky clean.. well i was wrong!! A few other secrets more well known:
- Florence Henderson, who played mum Carol Brady, went on a date with Barry Williams, who played her on-screen son Greg, during the show. Williams also dated McCormick for two years during the show, which originally screened from 1969-74.
- Robert Reed (the father of the show Mike Brady) was gay.He died in 1992 at age 59 in Pasadena, California, from AIDS-related colorectal cancer.

Salma has a girl! ( We knew she was about to pop!)

Salma Hayek and her billionare fiance, French businessman François Henri Pinault, have had a baby girl named Valentina Paloma Pinault, her rep confirms. It is unknown when the baby was born, and no other details are available. Salma really hit the jackpot with François. He owns Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent etc!!
There is a rumor that Salma referred to François Henri as her husband while she was at her baby shower, and she was said to have a credit card issued to Salma Hayek-Pinault, so there is speculation that Salma has already married!!

Nicole's birthday celebrations in Hawaii

Gorgeous mummy to be Nicole Richie proudly shows off her bod on the beach. The star was celebrating her birthday with fiance Joel Madden. I wonder what they will call their baby, all i can say is she looks a lot healthier at the moment and Joel and bub to be are to blame!!

Judge calls Brit a 'drug user'

Britney Spears is set to lose temporarily full custody to former partner Kevin Federline (K-Fed).
LA Superior Cour Commissioner Scott Gordon has said of Spears as "Based on the evidence presented, the court finds that there is habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by the petitioner"(Spears).
He has also ordered Britney to undergo random drug testing and to hire a parenting coach to help the pop singer raise her children with former husband Kevin Federline. Brit however will still has 50-50 with Kev, even tho K-Fed pushed for more.
It has not been a great week for the former superstar.
She had a less than stellar performance at the MTV VMA awards, dumped by lawyer Laura Wasser in the morning and then dumped by manager Jeff Kwatinetz in the afternoon. (He was also a new manager!)I
A statement from Spears's manager Jeff Kwatinetz said his company had severed its links with the singer. "It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears," Kwatinetz said in a statement to the press.
"We believe Britney is enormously talented, and has made a terrific record, but current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job."
I believe that people close to the star should watch her moves quite carefully. She could be on the verge of another breakdown.

Christina's bump continues to grow, but no official announcement from her reps as yet. Maybe with her up and coming Emmy performance she will confirm what everyone already knows!

Wentworth Miller, from Prison Break is in a relationship with Brothers and Sisters actor, Luke McFarlane. That's right people, Wentworth is gay. Reports had been cicrulating for months now, but Celeb gossip queen, Perez Hilton confirms it as these pictures show!

Lets make a difference

In the past few days i have come across two things that I believe are worth doing.

The first is Lunch for Leukaemia, in which you host a lunch, eat your favourite foods while raising money for patients and families living with leukaemia. A few interesting facts about leukaemia:
* 25 Australians are diagnosed with the disease every day.
* The disease can affect anyone,any age,any time!

The second is Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. One thing you can do is organise a Pink Ribbon Breakfast. The idea is pretty similar to the Lunch for Leukaemia raising funds over breakfast. To host a breakfast go to www.pinkribbonbreakfast.org.au for everything you need to do.

You can enjoy the best of both worlds by eating some of your favourite food while raising money for an organisation in need of donations.

All the action at the VMA's

Kanye chucks another dummy-spit, Tommy and Kid Rock punch on and Britney mumbles her way through her comeback.
The 2007 VMA's were definatly not about the music this year. Held in the Palms Hotel in Vegas, the stars come out in droves. Comedian Sarah SIlverman held the awards and kept the Paris jokes to herself and instead attacked 50 cent for being alive and Britney's kids being as cute as the 'hairless vagina' they come out of.
Kanye West was nominated five times and did not win once. This lead to Kanye's outburst, the second in two days: (the first was on Britney Spears opening the VMA's) Kanye promised MTV that he will never attended another VMA let alone perform. I think Kanye should be grateful that he is recognised as a great artist and five nominations is a great success for any artist.
Tommy Lee and Kid Rock decided to exchange punches whilst Alicia Keys was performing. The funny thing is, neither is with their former flame, Pamela Anderson. She rocked up with someone else. It is believed Tommy Lee initated it, muttering words as he Lee, who was sitting at P. Diddy's table, muttered something to Rock as he walked past him on his way to introduce the final performance.One witness said Rock hit Lee twice before security pulled the two men apart.
Rap producer Rich Nice, who witnessed the event, said: "It looked like Tommy initiated the fight because Kid was ignoring him. Tommy started to antagonise Kid, and then when Tommy stood up Kid hit him first with a backhand.
"Tommy looked like he was trying to aggressively retaliate and then Kid hit him again. Security then grabbed Tommy in a headlock and pulled him off."
If convicted, Kid Rock faces a $500 fine and up to six months in jail. Kid Rock will appear in court in three to five weeks and enter a plea.
And finally on to Miss Spears who gave a not so great comeback with her single "Gimme More." World media are now asking the star to "Gimme Less" .Celeb blogger, Perez Hilton was deeply offended and said the following:
"What you did was disrespectful to your few remaining fans. And it was disrespectful to MTV!

"You didn’t even try! You should have just cancelled.

"Your performance was beyond pathetic. The old Britney Spears, who was at one point (a long time ago) truly great, would be embarrassed by your lack of professionalism and utterly shiteous appearance at the VMAs."

Unfortunatley I would have to agree with Perez and also say that as a 25 year old mother of two: Spears should dress more appropriate. Her sexy image is no longer sexy and she doesn't have the taut body she once had. Britney you can still be sexy, just cover the midriff.

I am hooked on..

The Hills! It is seriously my favourite show at the moment.
Because Australia is behind a season, I go to www.mtv.com and watch season three from there.
Has Audrina got a tattoo on the back of her neck? And if so, what is it? I am seeing alot more of her back these days since she is LC's new flatmate!
Who knows what is going to happened next! After all, the Hills is filmed in Hollywood/LA.

This week in the world of...

APEC is here and Sydney is about to become a haunt for protestors.The first lot is the 'STOP BUSH' campaigners starting today at Central station at 5pm. Thank god for the public holiday on Friday. I feel sorry for people who actually live in the city!! The only gripe i have about this situation is the amount of money they have spent on this summit. Iemma admitted they blew the $170 million dollar budget. I do not know why world leaders need millions of dollars in fire works displays and the people that paid for it (us the taxpayers) cant watch it! The money can go to better causes such as hospitals, charities and roads.

Australian Idol has announced its Top 12 after the Wildcard show on Sunday night. Any favourites so far? I was a bit dissapointed that Husny didn't get through. He was the prince/John Galliano look a like!! I don't think Lana should be there. I'm going for Karl (the Michael Buble guy).
