It has been a while since we have seen the former close friends side-by-side, Katie has been holed up in her Mcmansion with Tom and co and Victoria has been hanging out with Eva Longoria-Parker, Kate Beckingsale and jetsetting between London and LA.

And according to the rumor mill, there may be a feud waiting for her in LA when she gets back. Reportedly Posh and gal pal Katie Holmes are in the midst of a spat surrounding Holmes’ jealousy of Vic’s Vogue cover.

I think Ellen Pompeo is sexy. There is something about her for me that just screams hot. So when I was checking out some of my favourite blogs, I was suprised to see this headline 'Ellen Pompeo is Luminous (even if her hips look a smidge Wide)' with this accompanying photograph.

Jezebel.com are you serious? I was so taken back by this headline because women's magazines often get the blame for 'anorexia' and 'bulimia' and to be completely 100% honest I can not see one inch of 'fat' on her body!

I did a search and insiders say that the Grey's doctor weighs in at about 100 lbs, convert that to kilograms and she is a whopping 45.45kg. WOW! I never knew that could be so fat. WHY? Because it is not! This headline is offensive and should not be on a website where girls and young women read it on a regular basis.

The Hills star, Audrina Patridge has come out to defend the nude pictures of her that have been leaked over the internet.

Patridge, 22 claims the pictures were taken of her when she was 19.

Audrina released a statement through her publicist:“I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model.”

“I was young and very trusting of others and I didn’t know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me".

Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry gave birth to a daughter at Cedars-Sinai Hospital (A lot of celebrities have babies here!) in Los Angeles on March 16.

According to breaking reports, the Catwoman actress is reportedly resting comfortably after welcoming a 7lbs 4oz daughter into the world.

This is the first child for Halle, 41, and her 32-year-old boyfriend/model Gabriel Aubry.

Hey Guys,

I am going to do something a bit different from my usual blogs and use this opportunity as a 'diary entry'. I arrived in Wellington on Wednesday afternoon after an early astart to the day. Waking up at 4.30am for a 9am flight is not exactly something I enjoyed,however once I got to Wellington I was great!

Wellington in the North Island of New Zealand is quite a small but lovely place. With a population of 400,000 it is home to some of the best buildings I have ever seen. I also have to comment on the accent of the New Zealander's - it is a mix of Aussie vs British and on the first day could not understand one thing they said. Everyone said it would pour with rain and be very windy even calling it"Windy Wellington" but i can say I have not had that experience.

If anyone is wondering why I am in Wellington it is because it is work related. I have met some quite fascinating people and even did a bus tour of Wellington. I have encountered the "Barmy Army" and some of Wellington's fine restaurants such as the Wellington Club.
I also did my first interview for the Press Council newsletter interviewing John Fleetwood. He gave a great interview!

I am sorry to the regular readers of the blog as they would know I have not been posting as much this month. Let me say sorry first of all and explain the reason why. I have been very busy with university work resulting that I am now two weeks behind so I have to catch up! I hope you guys understand. I hope I have filled you in enough for the time being and I hope everyone has a great weekend. From Monday expect more Juicy gossip and everything back to normal.

The recent announcement of Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze dying of pancreatic cancer has made me think - if you were given weeks or months to live what would you do?

I would pack up my bags and head off to all the places I would want to visit. I would spend time with people who mattered the most and I would eat at my favourite restaurant. I would I would take all the risks that I am not willing to take now.

Until know, I have not comment on the fact that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden from Good Charlotte are dating.
Why? A number of things that spring to my mind.
1. Rebound for Benji - considering the fact that he just broke off his engagement to Australian Sophie Monk.
2. Publicity Stunt and revenge on Sophie. We all know that when the limelight is not on Paris HIlton - she will do anything to get it back.
But, since the relationship has past the second week, I feel like it should be on my blog! After all, it is all things celebrity!

Apart from the fact that Paris has been seen with a 'B' for Benji around her neck and Benji has been donning a 'P' for Paris, Paris has turned into a walking DCMA mannequin - which is owned by Benji and his twin, Joel.

It all just seems to much too fast - I feel like this is a publicity stunt for sure. To support this I came across this on Perez Hilton this morning:

Ashton Kutcher is back to what he knows best, punking people. Cuz we all know he can't act!

The producer of Punk'd has started yet another show punking people.

Clever!

This time, however, things are a bit different. The show, titled Pop Fiction, will now target paparazzi and media outlets. The stars of the show will be those celebs that were tricked on Kutcher's old show.

Pop Fiction is an eight episode series that will air on E!. The show and the pranks are being kept under wraps.

As you may recall, Paris Hilton was seen having dinner in Los Angeles with a "shaman", which we told you seemed very much like a publicity stunt. Well, it was!

Paris was in on the act and was staging the whole night for an appearance on Pop Fiction.

After dinner, she told the paps, "He's really changed my life because the greatest gift is to give." Guess she punk'ed us there again!

Ashton's producing partner, Jason Goldberg, says "You're speaking their language. We live in a culture that's driven by media and obsessed with celebrity, to the point where they don't have private lives anymore. Two people going out to eat turns into, 'They're engaged.' It's a feeding frenzy. It's dangerous and it's irresponsible in some cases."

Unlike Punk'd, Ashton does not appear at the end of every episode to confront the celebs. Goldberg says, "The end results speak for themselves."

If she was punking the press with the sharman - she may well as be doing the same thing with Benji. Paris however is on rocky ground. On again best friend Nicole Richie is dating and just had a child with Joel, Benji's twin. If she breaks his heart, she could also risk friendship with Nicole!

ALSO: on a hair note her "imitation" on the Posh bob, is terrible - get a straightener or put back in the extensions!

With the Golden Globes cancelled we did not have a chance to oooooh and aaaaah over the celebrities strutting their bodies down the red carpet.

Awards ceremonies to me are boring, but the fashion well thats another stories. NOTE: Colour of the night was red. A lot of actresses wore red!

And the nominee's for Best Dressed Actress at the Oscar's are:

First off the ranks is Jessica Alba. After showing up previously in a beautiful Golden Versace gown she did not dissapoint. The actress rumoured to be pregnant with twins glowed in a strapless plum dress with feathered detailing.
This is one of Jessica's best looks yet. Rate 8.5/10

Next is the tiny but svelte Renee Zellweger. She really stood out, again strapless but full of bling! She wore favourite designer Carolina Hererra.

Rate 8/10

I am sure Jennifer Garner and Cameron Diaz used their stylist Rachel Zoe and they are both on best dressed lists around the globe! Jennifer had an akward moment on the red carpet with Ryan Seacrest! Jennifer was wearing Oscar De La Renta and Cameron wore Christian Dior. The light pink is to die for! Looks great. My only quirp with Cameron, fix the hair! Rachel sure knows how to dress a body!

Well, last night on Australian TV Cashmere Mafia premiered and wasn't it great! Although it screamed 'Sex and the City' all over again I was not dissapointed. I also loved the fact that the ladies are powerful successful and two of them are Australian actors.

However there is one serious issue and I want to bring it up with you. I was amazed when Mia (Lucy Liu) and her new fiance Jack (Tom Everett Scott) go head to head for the US Publishers job. Mia scores the role and instead of celebrating happiness, Tom dumps her. He thought he was going to get the role and when he didn't he ends it because he wants to come home to his wife and kids.

Hello!?! Are we in the modern world. What happened to having both, family and career. Shouldn't Tom be happy that Mia has been so successful and the fact that she said she does want to have children!?! It just shows that double standards even if it is in the televised world, exists.

Can Women really have it all? Do they have to chose family over career?

I do not think that a woman should be made to chose. I have read success stories all the time about women that have both a family and a career. For all the women out there go for your careers and families. Do not let an ignorant person like Jack from Cashmere Mafia get in your way. Mia, you are better off with out him!

'Hart' break for Pink.

Singer Pink (real name Alicia Moore) and her husband of two years, Carey Hart have seperated. There has been rumours of infidelity through out the marriage which has forced Pink to post the below message on her personal website.

The most important thing for you all to know, is that Carey and I love each other so so much. This break up is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. Christina Aguilera reportedly got US $2 Million dollars from People magazine for happy snaps with new son, Max Liron. Nicole Richie has also secured a deal for US $1 Million dollars for pictures of baby Harlow and now there is a bidding war for Jennifer Lopez' and Marc Anthony's unborn twins!

Christina's was a US-deal only which freed her to negotiate seperate, lucrative deals with Hello in the UK and NW Magazine in Australia, worth at least another million. Why would a superstar like Christina need more money! It contradicts what she said before the birth about not announcing her pregnancy, "Because I hadn't said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that's not the case at all. I just wasn't commenting. I'm not being like, 'Hey, everybody, I'm pregnant!' I'm not that girl." No, but your the type of girl to make millions of your baby?

I am a big Christina fan, do not get me wrong and like the millions of people out there, I am the first one to buy a glossy mag with new celebrity baby pics on it but why do it for money?Why can't celebrities just show them off like every other proud Mum and Dad and the magazines profits for that week go to charity?

If that isn't enough, part of the negotiations were allegedly that the photos were not to appear in the same issue as any photos of Nicole Richie's baby. Christina wanted all the attention focused squarely on her and where is Mr Aguilera?He is not on the cover of People? I am sure it took some effort from him for little Max to be here!

Brad and Angelina donated the money they made from Shiloh's shoot to charity.I am sure Nicole and Joel will donate their money to their charity so hopefully they will do the same!

Lindsay Lohan has stripped down to her bare nothings for the New York magazine.

The legendary strip was to re-create Marilyn Munroe's last nude shot before her death.

Famous photographer Bert Stern did the shoot who also shot Marilyn in 'The Last Setting' in 1962. Lohan donned a Munroe wig for the shoot.

Covering up on occasions with see-through scarfs, Lindsay said that she was “comfortable” with the nude shoot, but confessed to doing 250 sit ups the night before as a final preparation.

“I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor,” Lohan said.

Lohan also compared Marilyn Monroe and Heath’s Ledger’stragic deaths, saying: “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”

Good Vibrations Festival 2008.

Well the most talked about festival since Field Day came to Sydney this past weekend and I was lucky enough to go.
This festival is so popular that 38,000 people decided to join me and with a line up headlined by Kanye West why wouldn't you want to go!
I will give you some highlights of my day.
*Seeing people that I have not saw in a while
*Great line-ups
*Fabulous photo opportunities
Bad parts to a festival:
*Lines for ATM, Drinks and toilets.
*The limited public transport which was available to and from the festival. Sure there were taxis and buses going directly to centennial park but what happens when they are either overcrowded or wont pick you up.You have to walk.
Walking from Centennial Park back to our hotel in Pitt St and 10.30pm on Saturday night and making our way through Kings Cross is not something I enjoyed.

Note for future events, the local council should put more buses on for festivals. A lot of people would prefer to catch public transport than drive.

All in all a great day and well worth the money. Now I have to give my feet a rest. They are still sore from all the walking I did.

The Australian actress' Sydney agent and friend, Yoon Kim, confirmed her breakup from the Good Charlotte rocker.

On a Saturday morning I was out on my drinks cart when I received a message from my friend, Louise. She told me the terrible news that quote "Spice Girls have cancelled their tour".
I am dissapointed.Shocked.Horrified.Betrayed.
Woah!That is a lot of words but when you get excited to see a group reform, promise to travel to Australia and then cancel, what would your reaction be?
The girls who pocketed a cool $22 Million each for the tour will finish up in Toronto on February 26.

The official statement on the girls website states:

“Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!"

The Girls then went on to say: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. The official poster has been released. This is the American version. It is unclear if they will be a different version of the poster for European countries.

Also a little spoiler: There is a flashback scene in the upcoming SATC movie which features the girls in what I presume to be their early twenties.

Do you think they look like their older characters? I think Samantha's character is great. Apart from that I do not think the other girls resemble their older characters at all. Will be good publicity for the younger actors tho!

I will be the first to admit that the Media can be quite a dangerous tool.
Gossip and Lies can be quickly spread with little need for the truth - as long as the story sells, who cares right?
I DO! I am studying to become a journalist because I want to let the world know the TRUTH.
This post comes in to regard of all the whirlwind rumours on Heath Ledger's life.
The Media, especially the Australian Media know that Heath was a extremely private person.
So it astounds me that they(Media) will not let Michelle Williams, the mother of Heath's child, have a break. This poor women has to go through raising a child alone and telling her daughter she will never see her Dad again, how horrific.
And just to think will Matilda Ledger have any memories of her Dad? My first memory was when I was 3 and 1/2.
It also angers me that he has now been romantically linked,after his death to Helena Christensen, Mary-Kate Olsen and Gemma Ward in a matter of days.
Heath would be amazed and shocked at the amount of 'scandalous gossip' that is getting spread around about his life. Let me point out some facts:

-Heath Ledger's passed away in New York on Tuesday afternoon/(Australia Wednesday Morning)
-He was pronounced dead at 3.45pm New York time.
-The basic fact is that until additional tests have been conducted, the autopsy is incomplete and inconclusive as to why this 28-year-old man died.

That is all we know.

We do not know if Heath was a drug addict, or if was having casual sex with Mary-Kate Olsen so to give him the respect he deserves, I will not write another post about him until I know 100% the facts.

I hope other media outlets would do the same and give his family and close friends time to grieve in privacy.

Naomi Watts broke down in tears when she heard the news (she is an ex-girlfriend of Heath's) and Michelle Williams is believed to be on a plane bound to New York. According to close friends "Words cannot describe the pain" she is feeling.
I do really feel for her..The conversation she will have to tell her little girl. They only split in September.
His family insists that his death was accidental.
It has been revealed that Ledger had pneumonia when he died and had been taking sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication.He said late last year he "stressed out a little too much" during the Dylan film and had trouble sleeping while portraying the Joker in the newest Batman flick The Dark Knight. He called the character a "psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy".
"I probably slept an average of two hours a night," Ledger said.
"I couldn't stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going."
He said he took two Ambien pills, which only worked for an hour.
TMZ also have a video of Heath recently gave an interview to WJW FOX in Cleveland where he said, "I feel good about dying because I feel alive through her." He was talking about his young daughter Matilda. This is spooky - is this a sign he was in trouble?
He was found in his bed but they Paramedics moved him to the floor to try and resuscitate him.

This story is continuing to develop but it is important so I will keep updating it when I can.

Australian Actor, Heath Ledger, 28 has been found dead in his Soho apartment face down from a prescription pill overdose. It is too early to confirm whether the death was accidental or suicide. There were no visible signs of trauma.

Heath was found dead by his housekeeper.

Reports are circulating that his apartment was owned by Mary-Kate Olsen. This is NOT true.

Reports are also circulating that Ledger had a substance abuse problem. At present this cannot be confirmed.

As you can see there is chaos outside his apartment building. The video is speculating if previous fiance, Michelle Williams is aware of Ledger's death. The former couple have a two year old daughter, Matilda.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

The picture above is the last picture of Heath taken while he was alive. It was in London on Saturday on the set of his latest movie, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." The movie, directed by Terry Gilliam, was due to be released next year.

Last Monday I recapped on what has been going on in Britney's life.

I would hate to be the person writing her autobiography.

We all know that Britney is sick. So when is enough, enough?

Rumours where at a all time high when Britney was pictured looking at and purchasing pregnancy tests with her supposed Papparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Also things got a little strange when she was seen wearing her wedding dress.

Then there were the rumours she was converting to Islam and moving to Pakistan and now HOT off the press Britney has a restraining order out on Adnan and they are over. I wonder what is happening to the Mercedes Benz!?!

X17Online a few days ago released an online article with the heading "Britney is not pregnant - Period". To my absolute shock horror I was confronted by a picture of Britney wearing fishnets, short short dress getting out of a car - note can see the colour of her underwear. Why would this image be so confronting. Because Britney has her "period" all over her white knickers for everyone to see.

To see anyone in this sort of mess and in need of obvious care is quite disturbing. When will the freak show ever end? As i have said in previous posts if the media left her alone maybe she would get help.

Everyone knows what happened to Anna Nicole Smith and the media scrum surrounding her tragic end. Maybe they will give Britney a break. I highly doubt it though.

What happened to our amazing Aussie Summer. I think it got lost on its way to us and autumn has come early.

Us Aussies live for the beachy days and club nights. And so far we have had a few hot HUMID days and thats it. I think it would have to have something to do with global warming because lets face it - we did not have a cold winter either.

As anyone who knows me will know I am completely against the use of any animal products.

That means companies who test their products on animals and people (celebrities) that wear fur.

I do not care how people think wearing fur is 'glamourous'.

This is wrong. I am a major fan of PETA. Where are the red cans of paint when you need them.

I found a News release in 2003 from the Humane Society International. This is what they had found.

HSI's global investigation found:

-The death toll is conservatively estimated to be in the range of two million dogs and cats killed annually for their fur. Usually, 10 to 12 dogs and 24 cats are killed to manufacture one coat - more if puppies or kittens are used.

-The fur industry deliberately misleads consumers about product composition. A dog product may be sold as Gae-wolf, Sobaki, and Asian jackal among many others. Cat products are often sold as Wildcat, Goyangi and Katzenfelle to name only a few.

-Inhumane means are employed to kill animals for their fur. Investigators witnessed and recorded animals dying by slow suffocation, hanging, bludgeoning and clubbing, or bleeding to death. All of these methods involve severe panic, trauma, and needless prolonged suffering.

Maybe Beyonce might think twice about wearing the fur coat.

Georgina Walker was on the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning giving her predictions for 2008.

Georgina predicts Britney will die in 2008. She said "She saw Marilyn Munroe" images in her head when the images of Britney strapped to a stretcher back in January 3 2008.

I am sure everyone is aware of what has been happening in the life of Ms Spears of late. To quickly recap - Britney has lost full custody of her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James after she refused to give them back to her ex, Kevin Federline.

Britney was then taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre for a "Mental Evaluation". Everyone has had their two cents worth from Adrienne Curry, Donald Trump and even Dr Phil.

Dr Phil, known for being on Oprah - confronted Ms Spears at the request of her family only to sell himself on E NEWS! The family then come out against doctor Phil.

In the meantime of all this happening, Brit has picked herself up a new boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib. Who?

He is a celeb photographer, who has followed Brit's every move for the past year. Adnan is with celeb photographers finalpixx and it looks like to everyone except Britney that he is with her for financial gain and his employers are happy he is with her.

Adnan has tried to sell semi naked pics of Britney and images of inside their hotel suite have seemed to appear. One more thing - Adnan is married but now "seperated" from his wife.

Britney needs help. If the media left her alone maybe she would seek the treatment she needs.

Australian magazine Cleo have started a 'We believe in Britney' campaign. Celebs such as Charlotte Dawson and Lizzy Lovette have endorsed the campaign. The magazine has an open letter to Britney stating:

Christina Aguilera had a baby boy named Max Liron Bratman and was born on Saturday 12 January at 10.05pm and weighs 6 pounds, 2 ounces. Liron means 'my song' in Hebrew. Christina's husband Jordan Bratman is Jewish and Max means the greatest.

Nicole Richie gave birth to a girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden on Friday 11 January. Baby Harlow weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces. On babynames.com they have Harlow under a boy's name. It will be interesting to see why the couple chose this name.

Both women gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Hospital in LA in the same ward.

My beautiful friend, Lisa-Marie points out that Nicole exclusively speaks to OK! when she releases some news.

and so does Christina! Christina sold her wedding pictures and story back to the magazine in 2005.

Sex and the City is having a double revival - two shows called Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle.

Both of the new TV shows remind the viewer of Sex and the City. And no wonder.

Cashmere Mafia is produced by Sex and the City creator Darren Star. Very similar to SATC by the way of four women, Lucy Lui, Bonnie Sommerville and Australia's own Miranda Otto and Frances O'Connor who are very successful career wise, based in New York and discuss their relationships.

The Los Angeles Times says "Showcasing the glamorous and high-octane lives of women 10 years older and 10 years more successful than the "Sex" gals, Cashmere has at its core a foursome with all the requisite cheek, talent and disparate hair color/back stories."

Funnily enough, Lipstick Jungle has been created by best-selling author Candace Bushnell, who penned the original New York dating column that was the model for Carrie Bradshaw. Starting to see similarities?

Like Cashmere Mafia, Lipstick Jungle is about high-powered women juggling their careers and personal lives in Manhattan. However there are only three girls, not four. Cast includes Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price. Aussie Melissa George was originally casted for Nico, now played by Kim Raver but quit because of creative differences. I think this is a big mistake as it could launch her on the A-List.

Rachel Zoe is having a pretty successful 2008 so far.

The fashionista who released her book A to Zoe last year is set to make a reality show. She exclusively signed a deal with Bravo to shoot a one-hour show.

"It's not about exposing my clients or being invasive into their personal lives--unless they want to participate," Zoe said of the A-list celebrities she works with, which include Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, and Liv Tyler.

Rachel also said that she had pondered on this idea for about a year. "It's about a comfort level," she said, admitting, "I [initially] didn't want to do a book, either; it took me two years to say yes to that."

Zoe says "With the TV project I want to educate people who are also asking me fashion questions. I want people to understand what I do and more about the fashion business."

The Spice Girls look set to extend their Australian leg of their current world reunion tour which can net them an extra 4.5 million dollars - each!

The band are reportedly set to sign up for 12 live shows in Australia which will include Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

The Spice Girls are currently in the middle of performing a 17-date residency at London's O2 Arena. It looks like they will land in Australia in March.

A source tells UK newspaper The Sun, ‘The girls have a massive fan base in Australia and a huge amount of cash is being thrown at them to get them to perform there. Everyone in Oz has been reading about the show and now want a piece of the action.’

It is true! We do want a piece of the action. No word yet on how much the tickets will cost.

How was everyone's NYE and NYD?

Mine not so good. Why?

I don't like feeling dirty. A group of friends and I went and saw the fireworks at Kirribilli in Sydney. The amount of people was crazy. The people infront of us pitched their tent at 5 am in the morning to make sure they had a good spot. Apart from the lack of personal space, there was litter everywhere and dirt was getting trapped inside my Jesus sandals because of where we were standing. Council's should either put enough bins out for the amount of rubbish that there is or have Council workers working emptying the bins frequently. However, one thing everyone should do in their lifetime is, see the fireworks in the Sydney Harbour. It was amazing. People were oowing and ahhing everywhere.

Field Day 2008. We paid $125 a ticket. Some of my friends paid up to $200. What was all the fuss about!?! Seriously!? I don't think it was my thing but then again when your arguing with a loved one, nothing will make your day right would it?!

A few tips for music festivals for the future:
-Water between alcoholic beverages
-Sunscreen and heaps of it. There were so many lobsters walking around. They are paying for it now.
-Enclosed shoes. So your feet 1/Stay clean and 2/ Don't get cuts from being stomped on.
-Hat
-Go with people who make you happy and will not get on your nerves. Field day went for 12 hours, so get used to the people you are going with.

All in all, My NYE and NYD was pretty full on. What about everyone elses?

New Years Resolutions

It is this time every year where everyone starts to think about their New Years Resolutions. Over the years, I have promised myself the following things:
-Stress less
-Be Healthy (cut out the junk food!)

And I failed. I do not know why people make resolutions when they know they will break them!This year my resolution is to make no resolution! That way I can not fail.

My highlights of the year:
-Britney's meltdown - losing custody of her two sons, in and out of rehab and the unforgettable MTV comeback.
-Christina touring Australia.
-Justin Timberlake touring Australia.
-Nicole Richie's pregnancy and gaining some much needed weight.
-More stars stripping for PETA, including Australia's Sophie Monk.
- Spice Girls reuniting

My predictions for 2008:
-Mischa Barton goes to rehab
-Britney gains custody back of her kids
-One of my friend's gets engaged
-Cate Blanchett wins an Oscar
-Perez Hilton gets sued by Jessica Alba

The list could go on!

Alison Jackson who is an American artist with a new concept.

Jackson puts the theory to the test with this question: Is seeing really believing?

In fact her subjects in the book are celebrity look-alikes. Picture this: Brad Pitt shaving Angelina's legs or Jennifer Lopez having her bottom fluffed.

Jackson's work is causing quite a uproar because the lines between public life and private life have now become blurred. With the world going crazy for celebs, the public want to know more.

"Because we unquestioningly accept the authenticity of the photograph, it would appear that we are being given a glimpse of something confidential, a private moment. It is only upon closer examination that we question the reality of the image, and hopefully this makes us question our unwitting tendency to believe everything we see in the media today," the book's publisher says.

The “Beautiful” singer will be giving birth via cesarean section on January 10th, 2008 according to the New York Post. Reportedly, Christina and Jordan have been busy picking out names for their soon-to-be-born baby boy. So far they’ve come up with Jackson, Jake, and Max as options. It looks they are not going with anything outrageous as "Pilot Inspecktor".

The picture is of Christina celebrating her twenty seventh birthday with hubby Jordan Bratman. They kept it low-key going to dinner. Just the two of them. All together now, awww!

Jamie-Lynn Spears pregnancy has been confirmed after Nickelodeon released this statement about on of their biggest stars:

“We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

The Nickelodeon actress, 16, is keeping the baby that she’s having with her live-in love, non-celeb Casey Aldridge, 19.

Jamie-Lynn is sixteen and has a live-in-lover. I wonder how Lynne Spears (Britney and Jamie-Lynn's Mum) feels?

Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker look like they have already hit the rocks if this report is to be believed.

French model, Alexandra Paressant is saying that she recently had an affair with Tony Parker. She even goes on to say that they exchanged phone numbers at his wedding with the Desperate Housewives star.

Paressant released details claiming; she hooked up with the San Antonio Spur in Paris this past September, and then again in Texas in October.

Alexandra isn’t the most reliable source when it comes to integrity. She formerly dated Brazilian soccer player Ronaldhino, and spread rumors that his “all-night partying” during the 2006 World Cup led to Brazil’s loss.

Parker and Paressant are both French and only time will tell if these rumours are true or false.

Baby weight that is!

It has just been confirmed that Honey actress, Jessica Alba is expecting her first child with on/off boyfriend Cash Warren.

Jess, 26 has been dating Cash, 28, since 2004 when they met on the set of Fantastic Four. Cash was working on the movie as a director's assistant.

The couple reportedly split up earlier this year citing their hectic work schedules, but got back together soon after. In the short time that they were apart, Cash had moved out and hooked up, which was publicised in the tabloids but Jess took him back.

Do you remember when those video's on TMZ featured Jess and Cash going into baby stores?!? I am guessing she has known since then and has successfully kept it out of the papparazzi's eye. Watch them swoon over her now.

Alba's representative Brad Cafarelli says, "I confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer." So in Australian terms expect to see the new Alba bub in late autumn early winter.

Last night on Channel 10 they aired the Victoria's Secret fashion show: What a show.
It was a good look about behind the scenes as well as the runway.
I also enjoyed the fact that they interviewed the main VS Models including Aussie Miranda Kerr.
An interesting fact about Kerr is she is the first Australian VS model. Most of the VS Models are brazilian. I thought this years show was lacking something, maybe Gisele Bunchen for instance!? It was the first show since Bunchen left VS.
These models make you want to work out they look so good. Its also refreshing to see how down to earth they are. There was no Naomi Campbell like behaviour!
They had live performances from Seal, Will.i.am and the recently re-grouped Spice Girls.
The Spice Girls sung "Stop" and even though they were very sexy in their millitary attire, "Stop" did not sound live!
To sum it all up Victoria's Secret runway show is not your average runway show. With everything that glitters to their wings, the show was one to remember.

Well the countdown to Christmas is on.
It is 14 nights until Santa climbs down the chimey and comes to your lounge room - so are you in the 'festive mood' yet?
Personally I'm not. I don't know what is wrong with me - usually by this time, I'm wearing my Santa hat around, finished my Christmas present shopping and looking forward to the big day. However this year, I'm not that jolly.
I have put a christmas decoration on my desk and started my Christmas shopping yesterday but thats about it. Everyone I asked has nearly finished.
To get myself in the jolly mood my boyfriend, Joe and I went for a drive on Friday night to look at Christmas lights. It was great. It is good to see some people really get in the spirit of Christmas for all to enjoy. As soon as we drove to Starbucks to get a coffee - the spirit was gone and back to reality I came.
So I hope everyone is more spirited than I am.
Any ideas to get me in the festive mood!?

The reformed Spice Girls kicked off their world tour in Vancouver,British Columbia overnight.
The outfit/costumes were put together by Victoria's close friend, Roberto Cavalli.
They are set to come to Sydney, however no date has been given as yet.
"Spice Fever" is about to hit the world again!
The group was formed in 1993 and released their debut single Wannabe in 1996. Geri Halliwell(Ginger Spice) left the group in 1998 and the remaining performers, Victoria Beckham(Posh Spice), Melanie Brown(Scary Spice), Emma Bunton(Baby Spice) and Melanie Chisolm(Sporty Spice) released the album Forever. The band then split in 2000.

Lindsay Lohan and her rehab boyfriend Riley Giles have split.
Reports have come to the media suggesting he was 'over the Hollywood Hype'.
"Ri-Lo" is another relationship she can put on the belt.

With this relationship ending it has got me thinking: Can Hollywood stars have it all. We mere 'mortals' look at them with stars in our eyes. Look at the hysteria surrounding David Beckham's arrival in Sydney last week. I often get star struck. I was gob-smacked beyond belief a little over a month ago when on a Virgin Blue trip home to Sydney in a turbulence ridden flight I see Jodhi Meares get up to go to the bathroom. When we landed in Sydney, I was hitting my boyfriend in disbelief, analyzing everything about her. Her hair, dress sense etc but the biggest shock, that the ex Mrs Packer was on a budget flight from the Gold Coast to Sydney!
We often see stars heading to rehab, Linds being the perfect role model for the class of Rehab 2007.
Is pressure from the outside world (us) driving them to behave like this or are they that jolted from reality, that this (rehab, different boyfriends every season) is normal to them?

As regular readers will be aware I have reported that Australian singer, Missy Higgins came out of the 'closet' to national lesbian magazine Cherrie.

In the latest turn of events, Higgins has posted on her MySpace page she is 'bisexual'. Stating"I've been in relationships with men and women so I guess I fall most easily under the category 'bisexual'" .

Higgins said she felt she needed to set the record straight, after Cherrie labelled her "not straight".

I think that this is just a cover up because she is most probably not ready to open the door on her relationship with her current girlfriend. Her current girlfriend is still unknown but is said to be residing in Bondi where Missy just splashed out on a pad for the lover.

One of my bar bosses, Adam might be a little happier. There is still hope Adam!

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr reveals exclusively to Sassybella.com of her recent run in with Paris Hilton. Kerr is now a part of the prestigious Victoria's secret elite and was not happy with Miss Hilton.
You can watch the video interview on sassybella.com but to sum it up in short - Miss Hilton wanted to take part in the model parade and had to choose three outfits from the racks. She then pointed to Miranda's rack and stated "I want that one."

It seems everybody these days are 'sue-mad'.

Sue-Mad means they will try and swindle every cent out of the person they feel to be cheated by. There have been well known cases where a lady tried to sue McDonalds over her obesity/health problem and where Louis Vuitton sued Britney Spears (successfully!)for damages and the banning of a Britney Spears video which uses an unauthorised close-up shot of Louis Vuitton fabric.
Are we serious here..Louis Vuitton is a brand image plastered around the world..there are imitations of the companies designer handbags all over the world and they would rather sue Britney over fabric!

In the latest incident of sue-mad it seems the boys from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are not happy with Showtime Networks, the company who makes the television show, Californication. Why? Because there CD which they released in 1999 was also called Californication. Anthony Kiedis states in a press release, "Californication" is the signature CD, video and song of the band's career. For some TV show to come along and steal our identity is not right."

I think that statement is a bit over exaggerated. The RHCP had released their first self-titled album in 1984. Under the Bridge - a song in which i love and was number one was released in 1991 on their Blood Sugar Sex Magik Album.Blood Sugar Sex Magik was a critical success and sold over twelve million copies and to top that off before they released Californication in 99 they released a Best of the red Hot Chilli Peppers in 1997. I think a band who releases a Best of album must be well known - and therefore the show is not stealing their identity. However, Californication, is their most successful album to date.

Band members want the show to stop using the name and to turn over any profits it made.

What do you guys think? Are the RHCP right - should the show Californication featuring David Duchovny be made to scrap the name of their show and give them the money that the show has earned so far -even though the show has nothing to do with the band!?!

And also: why did they wait a whole season to lodge a lawsuit - why not do it after the first episode!?!

Missy Higgins has come out on the cover of Cherrie magazine (a national lesbian magazine).
I always thought with songs Missy writes she was a scorned lover - but not from a man it seems!
It has been quoted of her saying "that she is not straight and believes sexuality is a fluid thing".
It is also believed Higgins has bought her girlfriend a house in Bondi.
I wonder if she feels better about herself - now she has outed herself?

A whole 84 minutes that is! Lindsay walked into the Lynwood correctional facility at 10.30 a.m (5.30 AEST) with her lawyer, Blair Berk.
Lynwood is the same facility where Paris Hilton served her DUI sentence in June. Linds was sentenced to 24 hours in prison, but she didn’t even make it to a cell. She was kept in a holding area and released less than an hour and a half later.
Apparently Lohan was "extremely co-operative and professional." This 84-minute lockdown has fulfilled the jail time part of her DUI conviction, but she will still be required to complete community service.

What do we think of this? 84 minutes for Lindsaty, 82 minutes for Nicole..seems like celebs have different rules to others!

Kate Ritchie is set to replace Sami Lukis on the Nova forefront.
Kate will be on every morning from Monday to Friday with Merrick and Russo.
They are trying to capture the number 1 slot of breakfast fm radio.
That radio slot is currently held by Kyle and Jackie O.
No offence Nova, you are going to need a lot more than Kate to try and gain that spot.
Kyle and Jackie O work well as a team and Sydney loves Jackie and loves to hate Kyle.
You guys don't have that. Kate worked on the Akmal show earlier this year when she replaced Matthew Newton.

When the reign is over

One of my all time favourite shows reached an interesting point in the new episode: Katie hands over her reign and crown to new MIss Teen USA, Hilary Cruz from Colorado.
It was such a sad moment to see Katie go. Over the season, I must say she is one of my favorite people in the series minus the outrageous burps. She is down to earth and says whats on her mind. She has alot to deal with. Her on/off boyfriend Josh was unsupportive of her title and couldn't wait for it to be over!
Before she walks out to the crowd tears well up in her eyes. She know her time as Miss Teen USA has come to an end. Which has got me thinking, how depressing would it be - to hand over a title! Katie worked so hard to get it just to see it get passed on to someone else- and I might add Hilary seems to not appreciate the fact she won it with all the bitching she does in this episode.
The infamous Miss South Carolina from her US Maps to Iraq features in this episode and Hilary is annoyed that the spotlight is on South Carolina and not her.
I wish Katie all the best and I hope she features throughout the remainder of the season.
